Mara Leah Collins
…is a full-time mother right now. In her previous life she was a student of philosophy and mathematics. When Mara isn’t entertaining Aodán, Xander, Søren, or Rainer, she’s probably reading some interesting novel, staring into her MacBook Air, listening to Bluegrass, or pondering the next step. Mara publishes a blog called Oleoptene and loves Twitter.
Aodán Zachary Collins
… (previously known as ‘Invidence’) is a very active eleven year-old who loves to draw and tell stories - his work can be viewed online at Toonlet. He’s also quite an accomplished cellist.
Xander Drake Collins
…is a very active nine year-old who loves to dance and chew ice. He’s unfocused when it comes to getting ready in the morning and is dramatic. He’s an early student of the viola, and is the reining champion of Wii Bowling.
Søren Revere Collins
…is five years old and is into trains, big time. He also loves robots, but won’t get anywhere near one. He hates owls, and we don’t know why. He’s an early student of the violin.
Rainer Griffin Collins
…is three years old, and mimics everyone as part of the learning process. He shares his brother’s obsession with trains, and is equally fascinated by dinosaurs. He’ll eat pretty much anything you feed him - and has a strong interest in avocados. Rainer is not quite sure whether he’ll take up the violin or piano.
